Bruno Peinado’s work can be described as a florescent expansion which feeds constantly by drawing heavily from cultures of all kinds and thrives on the proliferation of references. By mixing these various influences and muddying the waters, he creates new links between visual arts and other cultural expressions, making the world of art crash into that of daily life. Bruno Peinado thinks of creolization as an unexpected and accidental meeting. It is the connection of the most heterogenous elements which collide and swap places with each other, all the while weaving links within a vast web that spreads and ramifies, reflecting a rhizome-like mind. This breeding ground is crawling with life and feeds on all that surrounds it. Constantly contaminated by all kinds of worlds, Bruno Peinado is naturally partial to movement.
